  • To create your leaves: (a) Draw two leaf shapes onto the champagne beige lokta paper. Our Leaf size is 1.5”w x 2.5”h. (b) Using scissors, cut the two leaf shapes out. (c) With your fingers, “pinch” the leaf down the center of the leaf vertically, try not to have your line perfectly straight. Having a curvy line looks more realistic! (d) Punch a hole at the wide end of the leaf, directly over the pinched line.
  • Using a graphics program or Microsoft Word, type the names of your guests. You can have many names on one sheet, as the dimensions of this nametag are only 2.5”w x 1”h. For a creative touch, we combined a serif font with an elegant script font and added a border.
  • Print your nametags onto the cashmere natural paper. If your printer doesn’t allow this paper to go through, print onto regular white text paper and adhere onto the cashmere natural paper, leaving a slight border showing.
  • Trim your name tag down to 2.5”w x 1”h pieces and punch a hole in the top left corner.
  • Take 18” of the cranberry ribbon and wrap the box like you would a gift. Tie a knot at the top of the box.
  • To make this extra special for your guests add some treats or a small gift in the box. Add tissue or sizzle inside the box for some extra color and texture!
  • String your two leaves and nametag through the remaining ribbon at the top of the box and tie a bow around all three pieces.

  • To create your leaf, follow Number 1, a – d, from the favor box placecard directions above. Make one leaf only.
  • To create the tag, follow Number 2 – 4, from the favor box placecard directions above, changing the dimensions of the tag to 1.5”h x 1.5”w and typing the word “menu” in place of the guest name.
  • On your chocolate lokta paper, measure 6.5”w x 10”h with your ruler and draw lines with your pencil to show these measurements.
  • To produce a torn edge, firmly hold your ruler down on the handmade paper where you have your pencil lines and tear the paper along the ruler. Do this on all four sides.
  • Using a graphics program or Microsoft Word, type your menu. Our measurement was 5”w x 7.5”h, so that we could print two up on one sheet. If you have “ornaments” (font decorations), include that on your menu for added elegance.
  • Print your menu onto the cashmere natural paper and trim down with scissors or an x-acto knife. Once again, if your printer does not allow this paper to run through it, print your menu on white text paper and adhere to the cashmere paper with a border showing.
  • Adhere your menu centered onto the chocolate lokta paper.
  • Roll the menu up and close with a piece of double sided tape.
  • Take a piece of 6” cranberry ribbon and wrap around the rolled menu. Tie a knot to secure.
  • String your leaf and tag through the remaining ribbon and tie a bow around all three pieces.
