summer party invite
  materials

4x9 green tea envelopment
8.5x11 classic ecru cardstock
papaya scallop card
plum 1.25" circle seal
1/8" white snaps
fine tip brown marker

  tools

x-acto knife
1/8" hole punch
1/8" eyelet setting tool
rubber mallet (or hammer)
permanent mono adhesive

invitation

1. Using a graphics program or Microsoft Word, type out your invitation text in a serif font (we used adobe Garamond). To add a fun touch, we used all lower case type and italicized some of the lines. We also used brown for our ink color.

2. Set your "page" to be 4x9 and center your text. This will allow you to print two invitations per 8.5x11 sheet. Print out your invitations and cut to size.

3. Cut the scallop card in half and adhere to the top left side of the invitation using mono adhesive. Cut a circle sticker in half and place centered on the scallop card.

4. Using a 1/8" hole punch, make hole through the sticker and card, slightly off center, for the snap. Place white snap through the hole and set in place with the setting tool and rubber mallet.

5. Adhere the completed invitation to the center of the envelopment. Fold in flaps and close with a circle seal. Address the front using a fine tip brown marker.
