Create beautiful valentine cards with bwp's Valentine Card Kits. Using materials from the kits, here are some ideas to get you started!

"happy heart day" valentine

envelope liner
  • To create the envelope liner, take your envelope and place down onto the handmade paper. Trace with a pencil around the envelope.
  • Trim the liner out with scissors or an x-acto knife and a ruler. Then trim a 1/2” piece from the bottom of the liner.
  • Tuck the liner inside the envelope and fold the flaps of the envelope and liner down.
  • Pull the envelope flap away from the liner and roll mono-adhesive along the back of the liner.
  • Press the liner and envelope firmly to adhere.

  • Measure 4.75x3.5” on remaining gift wrap sheet. Trace with a pencil and trim with scallop scissors.
  • Adhere this piece, centered, to the cocoa cardstock with mono-adhesive.
  • Tilt the blossom heart-shaped cardstock on its side and make sure no edges extend beyond the edge of the cocoa card. Adhere with mono-adhesive.
  • Take the piece of ribbon and wrap it around the card, adhering both ends of the ribbon at the front with double-sided tape.
  • Cut out the “happy heart day!” greeting from the message sheet and adhere directly over the ribbon with mono adhesive.

Love"love" valentine

  • To create the envelope liner, follow directions from the “Happy Heart Day” Valentine above, tracing the picnic blossom gift wrap for the liner and adhering inside the blossom envelope.
  • Cut edges of the red cardstock with scallop scissors to create a ruffled edge.
  • Adhere the red cardstock to the manila tag with mono-adhesive.
  • Measure 4x3.5” from the remaining gift wrap sheet, trace with a pencil and trim with scallop scissors.
  • Adhere gift wrap, centered on the red cardstock, with mono-adhesive.
  • Adhere the blossom coin envelope with mono-adhesive, centered on the gift wrap.
  • Place a special treat (gift card, money, love note) inside the coin envelope!
  • Cut out the “love” greeting from the message sheet with scallop scissors.
  • Secure envelope closed and adhere the corner of the “love” label with a red dot sticker.
  • Tie the 8” ribbon through the hole of the manila tag and secure with a knot.
Be Mine

14” red/white baker’s twine
ecru 5.75” square envelope

"be mine" valentine

  • To create the envelope liner, follow directions from the “Happy Heart Day” Valentine above, tracing the cocoa blossom gift wrap for the liner and adhering inside the ecru square envelope.
  • To create the heart shape, fold the 4” x 4” piece of bright pink cardstock in half.
  • Cut out a half heart shape with your scissors. Unfold.
  • Wrap the baker’s twine around the heart shape as many times as your piece will allow. Secure directly at the center of the card with double sided tape.
  • Cut out the “be mine” greeting from the message sheet with scallop scissors and adhere directly over the ribbon and double-sided tape.
  • Adhere the heart with mono-adhesive centered on the chartreuse circle card.
