custom stamped announcements
|
|
directions
- To create the announcement, set up your text in a graphics program
or Microsoft word to be centered vertically and horizontally on
an 8.5 x 11” page.
- With a small strip of double-sided tape, lightly adhere to
a white scallop card and center the scallop card onto a piece
of 8.5 x 11” text paper and place in your printer tray.
- Send your announcement to print and the invite text will print
directly onto the scallop card. Remove the scallop card from the
text paper carefully and adhere to the inside left side of the
pocket fold with additional double-sided tape.
- Print out a photo sized to 4.5 x 4.5” and cut to size
with a ruler and x-acto knife.
- Take a piece of ribbon and make a loop. Adhere to the back
of the photo with tape.
- Adhere the photo to a strawberry square card so that the ribbon
is in between the papers. Place inside the diagonal pocket. Your
photo can be removed easily by your friends & family and hung
on a bulletin board or refrigerator!
- For the wrap, we’ve created our own polka dot paper.
You could also use a patterned gift wrap or handmade paper. To
make your own paper, repeatedly type a period and the tab key
in a graphics program or Microsoft Word. Repeat this over an entire
page and print in the color you wish onto white text paper.
- Trim the polka dot paper to be 11 x 2” with an x-acto
knife and ruler. Wrap around the center of the pocket fold and
adhere in the back with double sided tape.
- Cut an 11” strip of the “baby baby” ribbon
and wrap around the pocket fold over the polka dot paper. Adhere
in the back with double sided tape or you could create a small
bow if you wish.
- Place your announcement in a strawberry square envelope and
stamp the back flap with your personalized “It’s A
Girl” stamp!

- To determine the size of the label that will wrap around the
jar, measure around the jar. Then determine the height of the
label by measuring the flat space of the jar (vertically).
- Using a graphics program or Microsoft Word, set your "page"
to be the size measured in step 1. Design and print your label
onto cashmere text paper. Trim to size using a ruler and x-acto
knife.
- Adhere the label around the Mason jar using double-sided tape.
- To create the directions booklet, design your text to fit in
a 4 x 2” area for the front and inside of the booklet. Print
both sides on cashmere text paper and trim pages with a ruler
and x-acto knife.
- Adhere both pages together using mono-adhesive and fold in
half to create a booklet.
- Fold the booklet and punch a hole in the upper left corner
using a hole punch. Tie onto the neck of the Mason jar with a
12” length of the brown twine.
- For the label on the lid of the jar, cut a circle from the
cashmere text paper, using scissors, no bigger than the circumference
of the lid.
- Using your personalized stamp, stamp the center of the paper
and adhere to the top of the lid with double-sided tape.
